Forza Motorsport 6 is a racing video game developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One. Turn 10 also partnered with Ford Motor Company, the manufacturer of the 2017 Ford GT cover car. Upon release, the game received largely positive reviews, with critics praising the game's new additions, content, and weather effects.

The Park is experienced from a first-person perspective as the player interacts with and experiences the decrepit environment of Atlantic Island Park. These objects mostly consist of pages that reveal the backstory of the park and later, Lorraine. Lorraine can call out to Callum at any time during gameplay, and this may have a small affect as it allows Lorraine to follow Callum's voice and thus continue the narrative of the story or to reach necessary areas or objectives within the park such as the rides. The rides act as both exposition and scares. To enter the House of Horrors, Lorraine must find a torch. Throughout the game, Lorraine narrates her feelings and memories to the player.

Dead Island 2 features a new open world. The game's combat has different mechanics than its predecessors. Dead Island 2 also includes several features from its predecessors, such as the Rage system, which gives the player a temporary boost, and the crafting system.

The game is set in 1968 New Bordeaux, a reimagined version of New Orleans, with the open world being larger than the Mafia and Mafia II maps combined. Mafia III's map is made up of ten districts: Bayou Fantom, Delray Hollow, Barclay Mills, Frisco Fields, Pointe Verdun, Tickfaw Harbour, Southdowns, River Row, Downtown, and the French Ward. Players can complete objectives using a variety of approaches. For example, players can use the weapons provided in the game, like shotguns and revolvers, to eliminate enemies, or even to call up for some aid or "assisted backup" from a few friends, before or during the gun fight. Alternatively, they can make use of stealth tactics throughout the entire mission without being noticed by enemies. The core gameplay revolves around gunplay. In addition, players can also perform executing moves and engage in melee-combat. The game also features a cover system, allowing players to take cover behind objects to avoid enemy gunfire and some detection.[2] Players can also interrogate non-playable characters after defeating them in order to gain more information on their objectives.[3] Like scaring them while driving a car. Players can attack and overrun locations owned by the Italian mob, and assign one of their lieutenants to operate around the local area.The game allows players to drive cars from the era with realistic drive mechanics and sounds.

As with previous games in the series, XCOM 2 casts the player as the commander of the eponymous military organization, now reduced to a resistance force opposing the ongoing alien occupation of the planet. Players take control of the Avenger, the new mobile base for XCOM. Players are tasked to give commands to squad members in battles against aliens during missions, while commanding the engineering and research department of the base between missions to create and research improved and new gadgets, weapons and technologies to assist players in battle.[3] Soldiers can be recruited, with each soldier class having their own skill trees and abilities. For example, the Grenadier class can gain access to explosives and grenade launchers, while the Ranger is equipped with melee weapons like swords.[4] Armor and weaponry can also be researched and upgraded by the player in the Avenger base. Each mission's environment is influenced by the world's state, while maps are procedurally-generated to create a wide variety of levels, in which every map features different terrain and buildings in each play-through Mods are also supported. Campaign, class and enemy types can be created by users and can be shared through Steam Workshop. A one-versus-one multiplayer mode also returns from Enemy Unknown. New enemies are also featured, such as units from the new faction, ADVENT, and more alien types like the Viper.

Inside is a puzzle-platformer adventure video game developed and published by Playdead. In the game the player controls a young boy in a monochromatic landscape, solving environmental puzzles while avoiding death in a 2.5D sidescrolling fashion, thematically and visually similar to their 2010 video game, Limbo.

Playdead started working on Inside shortly after the release of Limbo. Initially, the company used a custom game engine for Limbo, but used Unity to simplify development, with partial funding from the Danish Film Institute. It premiered at Microsoft's E3 2014conference, and was originally to be developed for platforms, such as OS X and Linux. Afterwards, it was delayed from release in 2015 to mid-2016 and was to be released for the Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. A demo was released at Microsoft's PAX West event in August 2015, and was revealed at the Xbox E3 2016 conference.

Inside was released for Xbox One on 29 June 2016, Microsoft Windows on 7 July, and for the PlayStation 4 on 23 August. The game received overwhelming acclaim upon release, with some critics and reviewers calling it a worthy successor to Limbo.

Inside is a puzzle platformer in which the player character is a young red-shirted boy who explores a surreal environment presented as a primarily monochromatic 2.5D platform game, using color only to highlight parts of the environment. The game is very dark in nature and mostly silent, with only occasional musical cues. The player controls an unnamed red-shirted boy who walks, runs, swims, climbs, and uses objects to overcome obstacles and progress in the game.^[1] Later the boy gains the ability to control bodies to complete certain puzzles, a mechanic that IGN's Marty Sliva compared to a similar mechanic in The Swapper.^[2] At various points in the game, the player may discover hidden rooms containing glowing orbs. If all the orbs are deactivated during a playthrough, the player can unlock the game's alternate ending.

The game features episodes of an integrated live-action television show, featuring the actors of the characters. The characters interact with the player's choices, displaying the results of the decisions made.

The game originally was envisioned as a sequel to Remedy's previous game, Alan Wake. The game's focus was shifted to time travel, as Microsoft wanted a new intellectual property with interactive storytelling. The team consulted scientists while creating the fictional science in this game. While the video game portion was developed internally by Remedy and directed by studio veteran Sam Lake, the TV side of the game was developed by Lifeboat Productions and directed by Ben Ketai. Shawn Ashmore, Aidan Gillen and Lance Reddick portrayed important roles in the game. The game uses a new engine developed by Remedy, the Northlight engine, and a technology called Digital Molecular Matter.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst is an action-adventure platform video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is a reboot of 2008's Mirror's Edge and revolves around protagonist Faith Connors's origin and her attempt to overthrow a totalitarian conglomerate of corporations who rule the city of Glass.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst received mixed to positive reviews from critics upon release, with most reviewers praising the free-running gameplay and visuals, but criticizing the story and combat.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst is a first-person action-adventure game in which the player takes control of Faith Connors as she progresses through a futuristic city named Glass. Similar to the original Mirror's Edge, players traverse the city using aspects of urban exploration and parkour movements to complete missions and evade or fight enemies. Players can also make use of environmental objects such as zip-lines and ledges, and equipment including mag rope and disruptor travel across buildings. When players mark an objective on their map, Faith's "runner vision" is activated and some scenery items automatically highlight in red. These act as guides to lead players towards their objective.^[4] The use of levels and linear gameplay found in the first Mirror's Edge has been replaced with an open world, free-roaming environment. This gives players more freedom in traversal, allowing for the use of multiple paths to reach one's objective.^[5] In addition to the campaign's mission, side activities such as time trials, races and environmental puzzles are featured. Additionally, items called Grid Leaks can be found across the world that can be collected by players.
